We are please to announce that 123ICT will be exhibiting at the ICT for Schools Conference at the Kassam Stadium, Oxford on Wednesday 16th November.

Conferences are always a good opportunity for us to catch up with schools so please feel free to approach us if you would like to discuss any aspect of your ICT support contract.

OCN Caching Servers

The removal of the OCN caching servers will be starting the week beginning the 19th September. OCN have arranged for KMD Recycling to pick up the redundant Caching Servers. To make it easy for you we will unplug the caching server and place it in the school office ready for collection.

OCN email and Outlook 2010

OCN helpdesk have confirmed that live@edu will now successfully work with either Outlook 2007 or 2010 so there is no longer any requirement to downgrade. Please speak to your 123ICT consultant and they will be happy to set this up for you.

OCN Web filtering

In April, Quest announced that OCN have chosen Netsweeper as its web filtering product as it is easier for schools to access resources from blocked sites (such as YouTube) available to staff. We have been working hard to ensure all the schools we support are ready for the switch over and we will now start to evaluate Newsweeper on your behalf.
