Tessellation Studies for Key Stage 2The Maths-is-Fun site includes tessellation activities which are suitable for KS2 pupils.

It looks at regular tessellations and uses a very simple tool to create simple tessellations based on triangles, rectangles and hexagons. Extended activities include semi-regular and complex tessellations which can be enhanced with colour from a painting programme.

National Archives – Victorian resource pack

The National Archives have developed a new site about the History of the Victorians for use in schools. The resource pack has a very accessible video guide. Pupils are encouraged to work like a historian investigating multiple artifacts and take notes in an online notebook.  They can then save or print-out their notes.
