Spelling City - Word Games to aid SpellingVocabulary Spelling City is a game-based educational website and mobile app which can be used by students to build vocabulary in order to assist them in their writing. It can also prove to be great fun learning spellings this way, using well-designed games. One huge attraction of Vocabulary Spelling City is that is has free games, based on either one of the sites spelling lists, or individually chosen words – which can be simply typed in by the user to create a local spelling list.

There are three different ways that you can use Vocabulary Spelling City:

1. No registration necessary. This is the most basic way to use the site. Just go to the site’s homepage, enter your words and then take a test or play a game. You have access to great Teaching Resources such as math vocabulary, compound words, and Dolch-sight word lists. This gives you a taste of what you can do on the site, but you need to enter your words every time, since only registered members can save lists.

2. Basic (Free) Membership. Register for an account and you can save your lists! There is no charge for this membership and there is no limit on how long you can use it. Your saved and imported lists appear on your homepage for easy access. Students can search for your lists using our Find A List feature. Plus, you can add a link to VocabularySpellingCity on your school homepage!

3. Premium Membership. You also have the option of upgrading to a Premium Membership, which includes the following additional benefits:
