RM-Integris / OCC Workshops starting next week

Posted by:

Just in case you missed the email that was circulated to Oxfordshire schools last week, RM Education and Oxfordshire County Council will be hosting RM Integris Workshops where you can see Integris first hand, try it out and ask questions. OCC and RM staff will be on hand to discuss the options available and understand what RM Integris can deliver for you. Our advice to schools is to find out as much as possible, and as time is tight we recommend you attend one of the follow meetings:

  • 4th Feb – Witney Four Pillars Hotel, Oxford
  • 5th Feb – The Quadrangle Exhibition Centre at the Kassam Stadium, Oxford
  • 6th Feb – The Holt Hotel, Nr Steeple Aston

The  workshops at 9:30, 12:30 and 4:00. See below for full details:

What does this mean for you?

We’re really excited about this decision, as it will enable you to move your MIS to the easy to use, cost effective RM Integris solution. Moving to RM Integris means that you don’t need to buy a dedicated MIS server for your school, as you would if you use a school-based MIS system such as Capita SIMS. This can save schools up to £2000 per year in local server, hardware, infrastructure, maintenance and management costs. Furthermore, moving to Integris will mean that you do not need to buy a new licence for your MIS system, if or when you convert to academy status.

What do you do next?

As you know from OCC’s letter of the 22nd January, schools need to have in place a new MIS contract before 31st March. To help you plan your transition to a new MIS, we suggest the following steps:

Step 1: Find out more about RM Integris
Did you know that RM Integris is the number 1 Cloud based MIS in the UK? It is a simple to use and flexible system, which over 2300 schools trust to deliver their MIS requirements today. Full web delivery means secure, anytime, anywhere, any device access to the whole of RM Integris covering all your MIS requirements including:

  • Assessment
  • Behaviour
  • Attendance
  • Reporting
  • Statutory Returns

Step 2: Book time to see RM Integris in action

If you can’t make these dates or would like more of your staff to find out about RM Integris, there will be daily webinars in the weeks following the workshops to help you further and answer any questions that you may have.

If you are planning on coming to BETT, then make sure that you stop by the RM Stand at C160 to get a personal demo from an MIS specialist, whilst enjoying a free tea or coffee!

Step 3: Begin planning your transition
We know changing a well-established MIS system may seem daunting, but don’t worry; we’ll make it easy and straightforward for you. We’ve done it successfully many times, but don’t just take our word for it, see how easy it was for Westoe Crown Primary School to migrate and enjoy the full benefits of RM Integris.

Although RM Integris is really simple to use, we know that your staff will need help and support to use it most effectively from day one. We’ll provide all the training you need, and your trusted OCC Schools’ ICT Support team will provide support for RM Integris, using their extensive experience and local knowledge to make your life as easy as possible.

We look forward to meeting you soon, and we’ll be in touch to answer any questions you may have and help you with your transition.
