The Oxfordshire “Learning With Technology” conference was another opportunity to have a good look at 2Simple’s Purple Mash.
Purple Mash is a massive online creative space especially for primary school learners. It is a wonderful collection of resources that inspires creativity in young pupils.
There are more than 500 themes with linked activities, each providing videos, writing prompts, word banks, themed photographs, success criteria for the projects and clipart that link to all aspects of the curriculum. As they are on-line they give pupils the opportunity for anywhere learning. In addition, pupils can start some writing or a project in school, save it in their on-line folder and finish it at home.
Try some of the free Purple Mash activities before requesting a 30 day trial. It is a good idea to arrange the trial for a particular month having introduced it your colleagues via a staff meeting using the free examples.
