123HUB’s Featured Themes for April

Announcing Mountains & Deserts as our fantastic featured themes on the 123HUB for April! 

Each month, we include many links to: research, planning and teaching resources from around the world – which collectively should hopefully satisfy the requirements of any related creative curriculum, or classroom topic. Our great featured themes for the month of April are:

freemountainMountains. The first of this month’s featured themes is the stimulating topic of Mountains. We have over 30 great themed websites on offer. They explore: how mountains are formed, different mountain types, the locations of many mountains and mountain ranges, famous mountain explorations and much more besides. The wide-ranging resources comprise of a mixture of: information, research, activities and video clips and also some detailed planning – each of which will effectively support this interesting and notable topic.

1-desert_stock_photo_165846Deserts. Our second theme is Deserts and we have 30 super resources, covering: hot and cold deserts, desert regions and locations, desert climates, how living things adapt to living there, desert flora and fauna and more. We think that this is an appealing theme and the many resources we have collected will hopefully educate viewers as to the locations and climates of the deserts of the World and what can be found in desert regions.

It is envisaged that the 123HUB will grow to include thousands of educational websites. Rest assured that, each of the sites that we include, will have been carefully reviewed and rated according to their relevance to the new Primary Curriculum. You can trust in the quality of the sites published as they have been evaluated by members of our team, who are also qualified teachers.

123HUB is FREE for teachers and by registering; you can create your own planner and save useful sites for further reference. Registered teachers can also recommend their favourite websites for inclusion.
