Our Featured Theme for May 2017 is the really fascinating topic of ‘Inventors and Inventions’

Inventors and Inventions.   This month we explore the fascinating world of Inventors and Inventions. We have 50 super themed websites on offer covering famous inventors and their marvellous, life-changing, inventions. Can you imagine what it might have been like today if Thomas Edison hadn’t invented the electric light bulb or Tim Berners-Lee the World Wide Web? We also explore perhaps the not so well known inventors and what they have invented.  In the process, we look at the history and development of many of the technological wonders that we take for granted these days which were once merely ideas in the inventors mind.

All of our featured themes are made up of a mixture of teaching and investigation resources. They comprise of: information, facts, research, hands-on activities illustrations and video clips, as well as some detailed planning – each of which will effectively support our very engaging and wonderful topics

The featured theme is updated monthly during the school year. Watch out for our super ‘Explorers and Exploration’ resources coming in July 2017!
